My name is Danette. I am a mom of 4 and grandmother of 2. My husband and I started a small farm 3 years ago. We currently have 7 goats, too many chickens to count, and we grow a large garden every year. My goal with this blog is to help others that are starting out by sharing tips on animal husbandry, cooking on a budget, and scheduling tips to get it all done. I plan to share our successes and our failures. We are always learning new things.
